MEPPI's Service Division is seeking an experienced Inventory & Logistics Administrator to oversee, monitor, and perform inventory and material flow activities from service warehouse locations to customer sites. This role ensures optimal supply of inventory, maintains accurate control records, and drives continuous improvement across logistics operations. You'll collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and third-party partners to deliver efficient, compliant, and cost-effective inventory management solutions.

What You'll Do :

  • Plan & Manage Inventory : Maintain optimal supply of product and parts inventory based on account contracts, SLAs, and product variants. Coordinate with Parts Specialists to identify and align common parts across product lines.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally : Work closely with product divisions and third-party depot teams to deploy and distribute parts to customer sites and field technicians.
  • Audit & Optimize : Conduct inventory audits, including at vendor depots and for customer-owned equipment. Lead weekly inventory reviews and report monthly accuracy metrics.
  • Investigate & Resolve Issues : Oversee physical inventory counts, investigate discrepancies, assess shortage impacts, and identify corrective actions.
  • Control System Accuracy : Perform and maintain cycle counting in the system and ensure all shipping, receiving, and stocking transactions are recorded accurately.
  • Enhance Processes : Support process and cost improvement initiatives related to warehousing, logistics, and regulatory compliance.
  • Analyze & Allocate : Assess inventory allocation needs, review safety stock levels, collaborate with procurement on purchasing, and monitor inventory costs across warehouses and depot partnerships.
  • Maintain Documentation : Draft and update operational procedures related to inventory control and service logistics planning.
  • Coordinate Shipments : Prepare shipping and picking documents, arrange domestic and international shipments, and ensure compliance with tariff and customs regulations.
  • Manage Vendors & Invoices : Review invoices and shipping documents for compliance, resolve discrepancies, and process freight claims.
  • Drive Communication : Maintain clear, proactive communication with teams regarding parts availability, delivery schedules, and issue resolution.
  • Represent MEPPI : Foster positive professional relationships with customers, vendors, and internal departments to further the goals and reputation of the Division.

What You Bring :

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or a related fieldor equivalent education and experience.
  • Experience : Minimum 5 years in inventory control and MRP / ERP systems.
  • Skills : Advanced knowledge of inventory systems and techniques. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Proficiency with MS Office, Visio, CRM, and ERP platforms. Ability to multitask and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
