Job Title : Senior Financial Accountant

We’re looking for a Senior Financial Accountant who’s ready to step into a key role supporting financial operations across accounting, compliance, modeling, and more. You’ll collaborate directly with the Controller and CFO, contribute to audit readiness, support forecasting and cash planning, and make sure our financial data is rock solid.
This is not a siloed accounting role. It’s hands-on, cross-functional, and strategic — ideal for someone who wants visibility, variety, and the chance to make an impact.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own the full-cycle Accounts Receivable process : billing, collections, credits, reconciliations
- Prepare journal entries and monthly reconciliations (revenue, payroll, AR, taxes, accruals)
- Analyze and validate revenue recognition based on contract terms and purchase orders
- File and pay multi-state sales, use, and property taxes
- Handle domestic and international payroll accounting and reconciliations
- Support budget forecasting and prepare financial models as needed
- Update and manage the cash forecast weekly
- Track commissions, enter wire payments, and manage census surveys
- Participate in quarterly equity grant processing
- Assist with audit prep , insurance renewals, and other ad-hoc accounting projects
- Work closely with the Controller and CFO on both daily tasks and long-term planning
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA preferred)4+ years of experience in accounting or financial operationsStrong understanding of GAAP , financial statements, and internal controlsComfort navigating ERP systems and large datasetsProficiency in Excel and core Microsoft Office toolsHighly organized with sharp attention to detailBased in Utah (Salt Lake, Davis, or Utah County preferred) — role is mostly remote but requires in-person attendance at occasional team meetings (monthly / quarterly)Why You’ll Want This Job
