Job descriptionInterest in accounting, finance, or government contracting operations. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Eagerness to learn and grow in a structured, team-oriented setting. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or similar tools. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Support the accounting team with day-to-day AP and AR activities, including invoice tracking, payment preparation, and billing. Learn how to maintain accurate financial records in compliance with government contracting standards and regulations. Assist with reconciliations, reporting, and month-end close processes. Communicate with vendors and internal departments to ensure accuracy and timeliness of transactions. Gain hands-on exposure to DCAA-compliant accounting systems and procedures.

Our client is seeking an Entry-Level Accounting Clerk eager to learn the ins and outs of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) while gaining exposure to the unique financial operations of the GovCon industry.
Salary : $45,000 - $55,000
