Overview

Desktop Support Analyst Redwood City, CA (Onsite)

Location : Redwood City, CA Onsite

Hire Type : 6 months Contract

Note : Immediate joining preferred. 100% onsite. This role requires strong communication, technical support experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide service desk and incident management support with experience in SNOW ticketing.
  • Set up and support AV rooms; ensure hardware and software readiness for user environments.
  • Maintain clear and timely communication with end users and stakeholders.
  • Escalate issues appropriately and manage tickets through resolution.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

  • 8+ years of experience in customer service and support of Windows operating systems in a global enterprise environment, including software and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Active Directory, DNS, Exchange, and Citrix.
  • 6+ years of experience with Configuration Management, MDM, and deployment methods with SCCM and Intune.
  • Basic experience troubleshooting and working with Apple devices is an added advantage.
  • Experience with deployment methods including inventory control, security baselining, patching, software, and application deployments.
  • Understanding of Windows 11 features, feature updates, and industry best practice processes.
  • Understanding of Microsoft patching cycles and policies (e.g., WSUS, Win10 Update Rings).
  • Knowledge of new and emerging enterprise technologies (e.g., Azure, Intune, Windows Analytics, Autopilot).
  • Understanding of Office 365 / Microsoft 365 technology and other client support or project interaction.
  • Active technical certifications would be an asset.
  • ITIL Foundation and Agile experience is required.
  • Physical Requirements

  • The ability to lift 25 / 50 pounds regularly; moving monitor / printers boxes.
  • The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces; running cables at desk locations.

  • Exceptional verbal and communication skills.
  • Strong listening and comprehension capabilities.
  • Proven service industry front-line experience with high-value / critical customers.
  • Ability to type 35-40 words per minute to capture important details on a call for documentation.
