Job Title : Outreach Coordinator- Contract

Job description :

Job Summary The Outreach Coordinator plays a vital role in connecting our Mental Health Agency with the community, fostering relationships, and promoting our programs and services. This position is responsible for developing outreach strategies, client acquisition, and enhancing public awareness of our initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a background in public health or social work, and a passion for community engagement.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement outreach programs that align with organizational goals and community needs.

Manage and supervise volunteers, ensuring they are trained and effectively engaged in outreach activities.

Conduct public speaking engagements to promote programs and raise awareness about addiction counseling and public health issues.

Oversee project management tasks to ensure timely execution of outreach initiatives.

Utilize marketing strategies to enhance visibility through social media management and community events.

Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of outreach efforts and report findings to stakeholders.

Collaborate with local organizations for fundraising opportunities and community partnerships.

Provide administrative support related to outreach activities, including recruiting volunteers and managing schedules.

Teach workshops or informational sessions related to addiction counseling or public health topics as needed.

Recruit new clients / patients into the Agency.

Qualifications

Experience in volunteer management or supervising teams, particularly in Mental Health is preferred.

Strong public speaking skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.

Background in marketing is highly desirable.

Proficiency in social media management for outreach purposes.

Knowledge of addiction counseling principles and practices is a plus.

A degree in social work, public health, or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.

Demonstrated leadership abilities with a commitment to community service and engagement.
