This job position requires moderate physical demands. Duties may include frequent walking, stooping / kneeling / bending, lifting / carrying, and pushing / pulling during work. Including the following but may include other duties assigned by the supervisor.

• Cook meals according to menus
• Meet all food nutrition guidelines when preparing foods
• Cook foods to proper temperatures
• Hold foods at proper temperatures
• Cleanliness of the kitchen is your responsibility
• When using the dishwasher, make sure the ppm is between 50-100
• Have a thorough knowledge of the food code
• Recording of food temperatures
• Recording of Refrigerators’ and freezer temperature
• Keeping the floor swept, mopped, and sanitized
• Meeting any special requests that the residents and we can accommodate
• Answer phones as needed
