NP / PA - Sports Medicine - Waupaca and Shawano

ThedaCare , a community-owned, non-profit health system, located in Northeastern Wisconsin, seeks a Sports Medicine Advanced Practice Provider to provide full-time coverage at the Waupaca Ortho Clinic.

Position Highlights :

• 1.0 FTE - .7 Waupaca and .3 Shawano
• 40 hr. work week;  36 hrs. of which are direct patient facing contact hours
• 4 physicians, 1.5 APC in SM practice and 2 in Walk-In
• Total of 40+ physicians and APC in Ortho Surg, Sports Medicine, Pain management and PM and R
• All Orthopedic practice; high level of autonomy yet located with Non-Op Sports Med and Surgical SM for collaboration.
• Ortho Surg on-call surgeon and sub-specialty surgeons readily available.
• All Clinic no OR.
• Either (4) ten-hour days, or (5 ) Eight- hour days.
• No Call
• 18- 24 patients / day (once fully on-boarded and practice full)  pending 8 vs 10 hr day
• Require Orthopedics background in the clinic setting, preferably a min of 1-2 years
