Job Title : Junior Accountant

Location : Seattle, WA (Onsite)

Contract : 6-Month Contract

Compensation : $28–$30 / hour DOE

Overview :

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a motivated Junior Accountant for a 6-month onsite contract in Seattle, WA. This position is a great opportunity for an accounting professional looking to expand their experience and grow in a fast-paced environment. The Junior Accountant will support day-to-day accounting functions, assist with reconciliations, and contribute to month-end close processes.

Responsibilities :

Perform general ledger entries and account reconciliations

Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing

Prepare and maintain financial reports and supporting documentation

Support month-end and year-end closing activities

Review and process expense reports and vendor invoices

Assist with audit preparation and respond to inquiries as needed

Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures

Provide general support to the accounting team and management

Qualifications :

1–3 years of accounting experience preferred

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP)

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar preferred)

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Strong problem-solving abilities and willingness to learn

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a team environment
