Job description

POSITION : Project Manager

LOCATION : Denver, CO

SUMMARY :

Echelon helps institutional real estate owners increase NOI through fully managed, high-ROI energy and water efficiency projects. We serve many of the nation’s largest private equity sponsors, REITs, and asset managers, providing turnkey retrofit solutions across multifamily, senior housing, student housing, and hospitality portfolios nationwide.

Our platform combines technical expertise, field execution, and financial structuring to help owners drive millions in utility cost savings while preserving capital and reducing operational risk. We are not a SaaS platform or vendor marketplace — we execute. Our projects deliver immediate value and long-term operating income that directly enhances asset performance.

As we continue to expand nationally, we are seeking a Project Manager to join our Implementation Team, which is responsible for the construction management, oversight, and implementation of multiple Echelon construction projects throughout the country.

The Project Manager will report to the Vice President of Implementation and will be responsible for the simultaneous execution of multiple utility efficiency projects nationwide. A strong work ethic; passion for real estate and energy and utility efficiencies; a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously; and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for success in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Lead the execution of Echelon projects / contracts for clients looking to achieve utilities efficiencies. This includes budget management, preparing and approving invoices, procurement of installation subcontractors, managing on-time material procurement, overseeing onsite installation, and developing creative solutions to challenges that arise during a construction project. Projects are fast paced, typically last a few weeks in duration, and the successful candidate will be engaged in multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ensure adherence to project budgets, communication and reporting requirements, and timelines for successful execution of work.
  • Ensuring proper construction / installation practices are followed, risk management, and adherence to construction industry best practices for safety and quality.
  • Constant communication with all project stakeholders to ensure expectations are met across the board.
  • Assemble and deliver complete project records and close-out documents.
  • Represent Echelon in a professional manner and develop strong relationships with project stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or comparable field
  • Minimum 2-3 years of previous project management in the construction industry or equivalent field. Previous experience working for a general contractor, as well as experience in commercial, hospitality, or multi-family renovations is strongly preferred but not required.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to problem solve, self-motivate, and a demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
  • Ability to set and meet strict deadlines and prioritize workload accordingly.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external parties.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
  • Proficiency in both Microsoft Office software suite, as well as the Google GSuite applications.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% throughout United States in order to fulfill project responsibilities.
  • BENEFITS :

  • Exceptional benefits – Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k matching.
  • Flexible PTO and recognized company holidays.
  • Competitive Salary and Annual performance-based bonus.
  • Energetic company culture with opportunity for advancement
  • SALARY RANGE :

$75,000 - $85,000 base salary plus annual performance-based, bonus based on experience
