We are looking for a dedicated Billing Clerk to join our team in Perrysburg, Ohio. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of the company by managing invoices, payment applications, and collections processes. The role requires a detail-oriented individual familiar with billing systems and portals, who can work efficiently in a remote environment.
Responsibilities :
- Process and upload invoices into various billing portals with accuracy and timeliness.
- Apply payments and reconcile accounts to ensure proper financial documentation.
- Create invoices and manage collections processes, including follow-ups for overdue payments.
- Maintain organized records of billing activities and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline billing processes and resolve discrepancies.
- Support other financial tasks, including invoice creation using Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.
- Communicate with clients and stakeholders regarding billing inquiries and payment statuses.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to billing systems and portals.
- Proven experience in billing functions, including invoice processing and payment applications.
- Familiarity with computerized billing systems
- Ability to create and manage invoices using software like Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.
- Strong understanding of billing collection processes and ability to manage overdue accounts.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining accurate financial records.
- Proficiency in communicating with clients and resolving billing-related inquiries.
- Capability to work independently in a remote environment with provided equipment.
- Knowledge of financial compliance standards and practices.
