Northrop Grumman, Space Systems, is currently looking for a Rocket Casing Robotic Spray Engineering Technician 3 / 4 to join our team. This position will be supporting the Propulsion Systems Division at our Copper Crossing Value Stream (CXVS) facility in Salt Lake City, Utah .
This is a weekday, night shift position . Overtime is worked as necessary.
Description & Responsibilities :
As an Engineering Technician , you will prepare, maintain, and operate Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) to control the robotic spraying of resins, explosive powder and final liner materials inside of rocket motor chambers via Spray Lance Robots, while following detailed work instructions. This role will work closely with process engineering, referring to product drawings and blueprints. Additionally, this role will be expected to have, at least, a fundamental understanding of other process across the factory, from case prep to case fabrication, assisting with these processes and looking for opportunities of process improvement, when not performing the task of operating the Spray Lance Robots.

Primary Level Salary Range : $55,800.00 - $93,000.00
Secondary Level Salary Range : $66,300.00 - $110,500.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and / or personal business.
