This role offers an opportunity to shape and deliver full stack solutions in a fast-paced, innovative environment focused on security and compliance technology. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining features that span both frontend and backend systems, ensuring a seamless user experience and high system reliability. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle while mentoring and guiding junior engineers. The position emphasizes ownership, problem-solving, and collaboration, giving you the ability to have a direct impact on the product and end-users. Accountabilities :

  • Develop full stack features that address complex technical challenges, integrating frontend and backend functionality.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Design, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Participate in all stages of the project lifecycle, including planning, implementation, testing, code reviews, and performance optimization.
  • Step into a product management role when needed to ensure solutions meet business and user needs.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior and intermediate engineers, helping them grow their skills and careers.
  • Uphold software engineering best practices, ensuring reliability, maintainability, and scalability of the system.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and a modern backend language such as Ruby, Python, or Java.
  • Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and software engineering principles.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative, and product-focused environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Nice to have : experience with Rails, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, or startup environments demonstrating entrepreneurial spirit.
