POSITION OVERVIEW

The Class B Delivery Driver within our organization is responsible for the transportation of products, proficiently operating commercial vehicles, and executing safe loading / unloading procedures at both customer and company sites. In strict adherence to safety regulations, the Class B Delivery Driver consistently upholds effective communication with management.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Efficiently pick up and deliver the company's products from plants and warehouses to distribution centers and grocery stores using refrigerated trucks
• Ensure complete and accurate Department of Transportation (DOT) logs, whether electronic or manual, as required
• Maintain company vehicle by submitting Maintenance Defect reports and reconcile with the appropriate company representative
• Obtain and submit receipts, bills of loading, and signatures for delivered goods promptly
• Load and unload products by hand, utilizing hand carts and pallet jacks to prevent damage and ensure load stability
• Other duties as assigned
