Shift : Days

Hours Per Week : 40-hour week

Location Outpatient MVO building

Hiring Range : $34.34-$44.64

The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

Responsibilities :

Performs initial and on-going assessments of patient's condition.

Establishes, revises and evaluates a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and

involves the patient / family.

Performs therapy interventions utilizing standard physical therapy techniques and skills as appropriate

for the condition of the patient.

Oversees activities of physical therapy assistants, students and other support personnel.

Complexity of Work :

Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal

supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.

Personal Protective Equipment :

Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Required Credential(s) :

BLS Provider obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.

Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy (RPT) credentialed from the New York Board of

Physical Therapy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education :

Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.
