Job Title :  Nocturnist – Physician (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine) - Troy, NY

Job Type :  Full-Time, Permanent

Shift :  7 PM – 7 AM | 7 on / 7 off

Compensation :  $332,800 / year + bonuses and benefits

Position Overview :

A respected hospital in  Troy, NY  is seeking full-time  Nocturnists  to join a well-established hospitalist team. This opportunity offers a collegial practice environment, flexible scheduling, and support from APPs. The hospital features a  closed ICU  (managed by intensivists), so hospitalists are  not required to perform procedures or manage ICU patients . However, nocturnists are expected to respond to  rapids and codes .

Key Details :

12-hour shifts : 7 PM – 7 AM

Block schedule : 7 on / 7 off

Average census : 15–18 patients per shift

No required procedures

Strong support from Advanced Practice Providers

EPIC EMR

Candidate Requirements :

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

(within 5 years of eligibility)

Active NY medical license (or willingness to obtain)

DEA license (or willingness to obtain)

Clean malpractice and license history highly preferred

Open to H-1B visa candidates (J-1 not accepted)

Not open to locum candidates

Local candidates within 30 miles are not eligible

Compensation & Benefits :

Base Salary :  $332,800 / year

Starting Bonus :  Up to $40,000 (discussed at interview)
