Med / Surg RN Job Details

Location : Keene, NH 03431 (New Hampshire healthcare job)

Unit : Medical / Surgical – Thompson Unit (with floating to Kingsbury as needed)

Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse

Start Date : November 10, 2025

End Date : February 9, 2026

Contract Length : 13 weeks

Shift : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM (12-hour night shifts)

Hours per Week : 36

Weekend / Holiday : Every other weekend & holiday rotation required

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1930 - $2070 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg RN experience in a hospital setting

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire

BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)

Experience administering and monitoring cardiac drips (must be noted on profile)

Experience in dementia care and management required

NIHSS certification strongly preferred

EPIC EMR experience preferred

Ability to float to Kingsbury unit as needed

Must have own vehicle (no public transportation available for this Keene, NH nursing job)

Professional scrubs required (no logos)

COVID vaccination strongly recommended, but not required

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities

Coordinate comprehensive nursing care for adult and geriatric patients

Educate and support patients and their families

Provide leadership and collaborate with the healthcare team and ancillary staff

Maintain high standards of professional nursing practice and patient safety

Administer and monitor cardiac drips as required

Manage patients with dementia and complex medical needs

Document patient care using EPIC EMR

Comply with all hospital policies, compliance, and safety standards

Important : Block scheduling is not available. Travelers must work two major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's and associated weekends). All compliance items must be completed within 5 days of offer acceptance. Local travelers (within 50 miles of Keene, NH) are not eligible for this travel nursing assignment.
