Account Executive - Tank Monitoring

AMETEK / SkyBitz is seeking a high-energy, results-driven Account Executive to join our growing team. This is a remote-based, outside sales "hunter" role focused on developing new business across Texas and the Gulf Coast region for SkyBitz Tank Monitoring.

The ideal candidate will live in the Houston, Texas or Southern California area and has a proven track record of building a territory from the ground up, cultivating C-suite and operational relationships, and closing complex technology deals in industrial or energy markets. Experience with upstream oil & gas, or petroleum / chemical distribution is highly preferred.

Key responsibilities :

• Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities in assigned region with a focus on expanding SkyBitz's footprint in upstream and midstream oil & gas and downstream distribution sectors.
• Develop a territory sales plan targeting distributors, producers, and service companies using a mix of outbound calling, networking, and onsite visits.
• Lead the full sales cycle from initial outreach and discovery to proposal development, negotiation, and contract execution.
• Collaborate with marketing and inside sales teams to generate pipeline through digital campaigns, events, and lead generation programs.
• Maintain accurate forecasts, account plans, and activity reports in Salesforce CRM.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, demonstrating how SkyBitz's IoT platform delivers measurable ROI through improved asset visibility, delivery optimization, and reduced operational costs.
• Represent SkyBitz at industry trade shows, regional conferences, and customer events.

Qualifications :

Compensation : Salaried, $120,000 - $130,000, with incentive.
