Orthodontic Assistant (X-Ray Certified)

Pay : $18.00 - $20.87 / hour

Children's Dental Health is seeking a passionate Orthodontic Assistant to join our close-knit team in providing top-notch dental care to our patients.

As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients feel comfortable and receive the best quality orthodontic care possible. We are looking for a candidate who is energetic, positive, and upbeat, has a willingness to learn, and communicates well with others and already has their x-ray certification.

We want you to bring your passion, skills, and drive to help patients achieve beautiful smiles while creating "wow" experiences at every visit!

Schedule : 8 : 15 am - 5 : 15 pm, Monday - Thursday & 8 : 15 am - 4 : 45 pm, on Fridays.

Location : Monday and Friday in Downingtown, PA; Tuesday and Wednesday in West Grove, PA.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive and friendly attitude and deliver excellent customer service to patients
• Coordinate patient care and treatment according to the doctor and other team members
• Assist the orthodontist during procedures, including taking X-rays, preparing materials, and providing chairside support
• Ensure a clean and sterile environment by following proper infection control protocols and aseptic techniques
• Properly sterilizes instruments on a regular basis
• Assists doctor with cementation of bands and bracket placement
• Properly take the correct x-rays when needed on each patient
