Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team to work up to 4 days per week. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and providing exceptional patient care. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices, and assisting our friendly team in delivering high-quality care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patient oral health.
- Utilize medical imaging techniques to capture X-rays and other diagnostic images.
- Educate patients on preventive care and effective oral hygiene practices.
- Document patient treatment plans and maintain accurate records using dental office software such as Patterson Eaglesoft and hand-written charts.
- Assist with the administration of local anesthesia and other procedures as directed by the dentist.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with coworkers to ensure seamless patient care and satisfaction.
- Stay updated on dental terminology, medical coding, and industry best practices.
Skills
Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and familiarity with dental office operations.Knowledge of medical imaging processes and equipment.Understanding of medical coding related to dental procedures.Familiarity with dental terminology and ability to communicate effectively with patients.Experience using Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management systems is preferred.Strong aseptic technique skills to ensure patient safety during procedures.Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus, demonstrating patience and understanding in their care.Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and work collaboratively within a team.Join us in making a difference in our patients' lives through exceptional dental care!

Pay : $42.00 - $58.00 per hour
