Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Attorney to join our legal team. You will be responsible for handling a caseload of workers' compensation claims and providing legal representation to insured / employers / TPAs.
Responsibilities :
Manage a caseload of workers' compensation cases from inception to resolution.
Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
Represent clients at hearings, depositions, and mediations.
Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
Prepare and present cases in front of administrative law judges.
Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to strategize and develop case strategies.
Stay up to date with changes in workers' compensation laws and regulations.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications :
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the state bar and in good standing with the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing workers' compensation law.
Strong knowledge of Pennsylvania workers' compensation laws and procedures.
Experience with heart and lung cases is highly preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
