Contingent Medical Assistant
Location : Matteson, IL
Position Summary : The medical assistant will perform both clinical and administrative duties under the direction of a physician or designee. This includes taking patient histories, measuring vital signs, assisting with exams and procedures, and updating patient records. They will also handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing medical records, handling billing and insurance paperwork, and answering phones to support healthcare providers and ensure efficient patient care. Pay : $20-22 hourly

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma / GED, associate degree or higher with 2 years of work experience providing medical support to an MD or APN in a medical setting. Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, automotive insurance, and a good driving record. A willingness to work flexibly Capacity to remain objective and professional in all areas of job function Demonstrates tolerance and respect for the ideas and actions of others. Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, internet search, people management programs, smart phones and tablets, printers, fax machines, and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs.
