Responsibilities
The Coordinator of Academic Programs is responsible for managing the Academic Coaches. The Academic Coaches serve as a resource for developing academic skills related to problems such as : time management, study skills, notetaking, etc. The coaches meet with students one-on-one to help develop action plans and steps necessary to facilitate academic success.
The Coordinator of Academic Programs is also responsible for analyzing student data and producing reports semesterly; Develop and conduct dynamic workshops on various academic skill topics; Aid in managing the social media account by posting study tips, study strategies, and / or academic success suggestions weekly to aid students; and supervises undergraduate students (Peer Influencers).
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in appropriate area of specialization and two (2) years of related experience; or master's degree in appropriate area of specialization.
Recommended Competencies
Knowledge of and the ability to interpret and apply related University policies, procedures, principles, and practices; and,
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
