Purpose of Position
The Maintenance Instructor delivers exceptional ground and / or practical instruction in accordance with FlightSafety Training principles and applicable regulations.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Conduct maintenance ground and / or practical training for clients receiving core or specialty training courses.
- Develop and prepare training materials that support training delivery to meet the client needs in accordance with the applicable curriculum.
- Evaluate and measure trainee progress and recommend for additional training, if required.
- Complete accurate training records specific to each client, aiding their success in achieving the requested objective(s).
- Identify client training issues and seek assistance prior to execution.
- Maintain Instructor qualifications in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Minimum Education and Experience
High school diploma or Certificate of High School Equivalency (G.E.D. - demonstrated satisfactory performance in the General Educational Development Testing Program) with five (5) years’ related experience and / or training.Related experience and / or training in a vocational technical or trade school, preferred.Equivalent combination of education and experience could be in either a civilian or military environment.Minimum of five (5) years as an Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) technician, with at least two (2) years’ experience with turbine engines, may be required.Experience on the Citation 525 Series Type Aircraft to include 525, 525A, M2, 525B, or 525C a plus.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES OR REGISTRATIONS :
