Responsibilities

• Operate multiple black and white and/or color high-speed digital printers simultaneously.
• Follow written instructions to set up and release jobs from the print queue.
• Make necessary image positioning, image quality, and color adjustments to ensure top-notch quality.
• Monitor the quality of job output for accuracy and image quality on multiple printers.
• Maintain daily print job production logs and data collection.
• Operate SCREEN Printer.
• Help oversee daily shift operations, ensuring client-driven deadlines are met, key processes are followed, and a quality product is produced.
• Effectively coordinate workflow/volume with resources while motivating others to achieve predetermined quality and efficiency goals.
• Assist with machine operation training, applying company policies and interfacing with other departments.
• Set up, operate, and monitor high-speed inserting equipment used in the production and assembly of client output.
• Ensure every job is verified, materials match customer requests, and throughput goals assigned by management are achieved.

Essential Skills

• Experience with MBO Folders, high-speed swing arms, and envelope converters.
• Excellent communication skills with all levels of staff.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong English writing and proofing skills.
• Dependable and reliable.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to stand for the majority of a shift and lift 50 lbs regularly.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn new systems and software, such as Fiery.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in digital printing using Xerox, Konica, and Ricoh machines is preferred but not required.
• Training is available for those new to digital printing.

Work Environment

The work environment includes both day and swing shifts. The day shift operates from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, with flexibility for 4 AM start times when needed. The swing shift runs from 2:30 PM to 10 PM, with the possibility of staying until 1 AM or 1:30 AM. Saturdays may be required depending on workload. This role involves standing for extended periods and handling physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Sacramento, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
