Anesthesiology Physician

TeamHealth is currently seeking an assistant facility medical director to support our facility medical director at AdventHealth Redmond located in Rome, Georgia. The ideal candidate will be a board-certified or board-eligible, cardiac anesthesia fellowship trained (preferred) or cardiac comfortable anesthesiologist who possess outstanding communication skills and demonstrates leadership qualities, all while being committed to professional development and creating a desirable workplace environment.

In this key role, the assistant facility medical director oversees the physician scheduling, serves as anesthesia representation at facility meetings, is responsive to surgeon and administration needs, as well as aids the facility medical director ensuring compliance with protocols and practice standards.

Opportunity Overview

• Attractive salary of $700,000
• $100,000 sign-on bonus in addition to the base salary

• Cases including general, ENT, gastro, vascular, bariatric, ortho, podiatry, urology, neuro, ophthalmology, oral, plastics, radiology
• No OB, no transplants
• Rotating coverage at the Surgery Center of Rome, a four-room ASC with a dedicated team of experienced full-time anesthetists
