Travel Cath Lab Tech - $2,206 per week in Inverness, FL

Job Title : Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Profession : Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Specialty : Cardiac Cath Lab Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day shift Hours per Shift : 10 hours Experience : Minimum of 1 year License : Valid state license required Certifications : BLS required Must-Have : Previous Cath Lab experience Ability to take call Description : The Cath Lab consists of 2 cath lab rooms, 10 pre and post procedure beds, and 6 holding beds. The staff includes RNs and cardiovascular techs, with day shifts and call responsibilities. Patient ratios in the lab are 1 : 1, in holding are 2 : 1, and in pre / post are 4 : 1. The unit is equipped with GE imaging equipment, Volcano, Rotoblator, Angiojet, IABP, Impella, Penumbra, and Inari. The electronic medical record system utilized includes Cerner and Merge hemodynamic system. Common procedures performed include heart catheterizations and interventions, peripheral catheterizations and interventions, TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, pacemaker and ICD implants, EP studies and ablations, PFO and ASD closures, and carotid stents. Ideal candidates should possess a flexible and easygoing personality. The Cath Lab is dynamic and busy, performing all structural heart procedures. An advanced cardiac program is in place with residents and cardiac fellows. Traveling staff are expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.
