MGS has an exciting opportunity for a Toolmaker to join our MGS Germantown Manufacturing team.

The Toolmaker is responsible for the repair and preventive maintenance of molds. They provide expert technical guidance to toolmakers, resolving mold-related issues promptly and effectively.

Below are additional duties and responsibilities :

• Trouble-shooting, preventative maintenance, and repair of plastic molds and hot systems.
• Daily use of toolroom equipment such as a mills, surface grinders, and lathes to facilitate mold repair or improvement.
• Repair or request replacement parts, tooling or hardware as needed to maintain replacement inventory.
• Set-up and operate all hand-tool equipment along with manual toolroom machines.
• Coordinate with our internal new tooling group for specific operations or needs.
• Understand and usage of toolroom inspection equipment as required.
• Any other duties as assigned.
