Radiology Technologist Job Details

Location : Morristown, NJ (07960) – New Jersey healthcare jobs

Facility : Hospital Radiology Department

Assignment Type : 13-week travel contract (Start : 12 / 8 / 2025 – End : 3 / 7 / 2026)

Shift : PM shift, 11 AM – 7 PM

Hours : 40 hours / week (5x8 hour shifts)

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1990-$2140

Radiology Technologist Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist or X-Ray Technician (operating room / OR experience required)

Graduate of an Accredited Radiography Program

Active New Jersey State RT License

ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification

BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification

Proficient with a variety of imaging equipment : setup, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance

Strong communication and clinical support skills

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic imaging and X-Ray procedures in accordance with state, federal, and professional healthcare guidelines

Maintain and operate radiology equipment, ensuring patient safety and comfort

Coordinate and monitor daily imaging procedures, revising as needed for optimal patient care

Demonstrate initiative in problem-solving and clinical analysis

Stay current with advances in radiology, clinical practice, and healthcare informatics

Provide clinical support and collaborate with the healthcare team

Other related duties as assigned
