Public Works Maintenance Worker II - Long Lake

The City of Long Lake is seeking applicants for a Public Works Maintenance Worker II. Working under the direction of the Public Works Director, this position performs a variety of construction, operational and maintenance activities in the completion of assigned departmental services and operations, which includes drinking water production / distribution systems, sanitary sewer collection systems, stormwater collection systems, parks, city facilities, streets, fleet, and other manual Public Works labor responsibilities.

Minimum qualification requirements : Minimum of 2 years' experience in water / wastewater field. Must possess a current Class D drinking water treatment license issued by the MDH; a SD sanitary sewer collections license issued by the MPCA; and a valid Class B MN Commercial Driver's License with air brakes. Must be able to operate heavy equipment such as a pick-up, backhoe, skid loader, dump truck, etc.
