SUMMARY

A growing and innovative food manufacturing company is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to join its maintenance and engineering team. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of automated production equipment — including robotic systems, packaging lines, and integrated control systems. The ideal candidate is results-oriented, self-motivated, and eager to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on automated and semi-automated manufacturing systems.

Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic equipment.

Program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control systems.

Service and calibrate sensors, motors, actuators, and other automation components.

Troubleshoot robotic systems, end-of-arm tooling, and integrated automation systems.

Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize machine performance and reduce downtime.

Assist in training operators and maintenance personnel on proper setup, operation, and maintenance of production equipment.

Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment modifications using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).

Respond promptly to emergency maintenance situations to minimize production interruptions.

QUALIFICATIONS

Associate degree, technical diploma, or journeyman-level certification in Automation, Electromechanical Maintenance, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of experience maintaining and troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment.

Hands-on experience with PLC programming and HMI systems.

Working knowledge of robotics, motion controls, and industrial automation.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
