Visiting English Professor

A company is looking for a Visiting Professor of English.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and provide students with an approved syllabus and course materials

Facilitate student learning through effective teaching techniques and use of technology

Grade assignments and provide timely feedback while ensuring consistency and fairness

Required Qualifications :

A master's degree with 18 graduate credit hours in English, rhetoric, or communications is required; Ph.D. preferred

Experience teaching college composition and using APA style is preferred

Experience as a writer or editor in an academic setting is preferred

Success in teaching first-year students is preferred

Qualifications must be from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
