The company services municipal contracts with some of the largest and fastest growing cities in the U.S. including New York City, Austin, San Antonio, and Phoenix.

About the Role :

The Site Manager will manage the day-to-day operations of a single biosolids or compost facility under the guidance of the General Manager, establishing and maintaining performance & productivity metrics and cost management processes.

Responsibilities :

• Oversee daily facility operations in compliance with local, state, and environmental regulations.
• Support and lead on-site staff to ensure safety, quality, and budget goals are met.
• Maintain regular communication with staff, management, sales, and customers to align production with demand.
• Lead root cause investigations for incidents and ensure corrective action through training and accountability.
• Monitor budgets and KPIs, improving processes and performance as needed.
• Manage capital budgets, assets, and equipment utilization strategies.
• Handle personnel needs including hiring, coaching, training, and performance evaluation.
• Schedule equipment use and maintenance to maximize uptime and efficiency.
• Partner with the General Manager on short- and long-term goals and P&L reviews.
• Build positive relationships with local agencies and suppliers to improve service and uphold company reputation.
• Streamline purchasing by reducing one-time suppliers and strengthening key vendor partnerships.
• Partner with teams to address and resolve employee and labor relations issues quickly and effectively.
• Take on other duties as needed to support operations.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements :

Normal work environment is outdoors, with exposure to all weather conditions, dirt, high levels of noise, smells / odors and at times exposure to dangerous and / or toxic substances requiring necessary precautions, including PPE.
