Full-Time Plumbing Dispatcher

1-Tom-Plumber is seeking a dependable and organized Plumbing Dispatcher to join our team full-time. The dispatcher plays a critical role in ensuring smooth daily operations by managing incoming calls, scheduling service appointments, and keeping technicians on track throughout the day.

Responsibilities :

  • Answer and dispatch incoming service calls in a professional and timely manner
  • Schedule jobs in ServiceTitan and assign to the right technician based on skill and availability
  • Monitor technician schedules, routes, and progress to keep jobs efficient and on time
  • Provide updates to customers regarding scheduling, delays, or technician status
  • Communicate with technicians throughout the day to adjust assignments as needed
  • Verify jobs are properly closed out with correct notes, billing, and documentation
  • Track lead sources and support company sales / service goals
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support the service department

    • Requirements :

  • Prior dispatch or scheduling experience (plumbing / HVAC / home services preferred)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with ServiceTitan or similar field service software is a plus
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and customer-service driven
