Akkodis is seeking VMWare Engineer for Direct Hire position which is onsite – 5 Days / Week with to Fairfax / Alexandria. Ideally, We are looking for experienced VMWare Aria Engineer supporting a Government customer.

JOB TITLE : VMWare Engineer

EMPLOYMENT TYPE : Direct Hire

LOCATION DETAILS : Northern Virginia – Fairfax / Alexandria

Salary Range : $100 - $130K / Annum (Salary may be negotiable based upon experience, education, geographic location, and other factors

Responsibilities :

• Serve as a VMWare Aria Engineer supporting a Government customer
• Design, develop, and implement a Gov't Multi-cloud management platform
• Support customer cost, operations, and automation goals
• Optimize network operations across applications and clouds
• Automate workload balancing and placement for the VMware cloud
• Automate IT infrastructure
• Streamline DevOps infrastructure resource consumption and delivery
• Set and verify security configurations in the delivery pipeline and remediate violations
• Advise Project Managers on technical issues and solutions
