Senior Mortgage Underwriter

A company is looking for a Senior Mortgage Loan Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate loan applications and verify applicant information for eligibility

Ensure compliance with mortgage product guidelines and regulatory standards

Review loan documentation for accuracy and manage pipeline reporting

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Residential Mortgage Underwriting

Conventional Agency experience is required; additional experience in Non-Conforming, Jumbo, FHA, VA, and Bond Programs is preferred

Strong understanding of investor guidelines and regulatory compliance

Experience with pipeline management and system-supported workflows

Customer service and decision-making experience is essential
