- And so much more!\n\nAs a PreOp / PACU RN, your responsibilities will include : \n
- Implementing care plans including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.\n
- Documenting patient care effectively.\n
- Monitoring, recording, and communicating patient conditions to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.\n
- Assisting patients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, nutrition, elimination, and mobility.\n
- Coordinating patient care across disciplines including transfers, discharges, referrals, and providing spiritual / psychosocial support.\n
- Assessing patient and family learning needs and providing tailored education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and specific circumstances throughout the surgical process.\n
- Advocating for the physical and emotional well-being of each patient.\n
- Evaluating and caring for surgical patients throughout the perioperative experience, from preadmission testing to post-operative recovery.\n\nMinimum Qualifications : \n
- Associate's Degree in Nursing, required\n
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, preferred\n
- Current RN license to practice in Kentucky\n\nRequired Skills : \n\nStrong critical thinking abilities, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision are essential.
