Security Officer - Industrial Site Patrol

As a Security Officer - Industrial Site Patrol in Hagerstown, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service with clear communication. Pay Rate : $19.20 / Hour

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner within the manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and monitor for security-related concerns.
  • Observe and report any suspicious behavior or activities to Allied Universal management and / or site leadership.
  • Assist with controlling access to the location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of all patrols, incidents, and observations.
  • Work collaboratively with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to address security-related matters as they arise.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • CPR and / or first aid certification is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
