Job descriptionCollaborative group of 11 orthopaedic surgeons and 8 advanced practice providers 5 practice locations throughout the Montgomery area Fully integrated ancillaries : Physical and Occupational Therapy (6 PT / OTs and 8 PTAs) DME Walk-in urgent orthopaedic care clinic ModMed EMR for seamless documentation Advanced Imaging Center and ASC Proud team physicians for the Montgomery Biscuits (Minor League Baseball) Guaranteed base salary + productivity bonus as an Associate Physician Additional pay for call No buy-in required for partnership track after just 2 years Full business and operations support from U.S. Orthopaedic Partners (USOP) Access to mentorship and best practices across a growing network of 250+ providers including Andrews Sports Medicine and Mississippi Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center BC / BE in Orthopedic Surgery Fellowship training in Orthopedic Adult Reconstruction Surgery Excellent communication skills Patient focused, collaborative, team player Eligible for or holding a valid Alabama medical license. 50% Physician Ownership Physician Board Centralized Business Support Finance & Operations Human Resources & Recruitment Compliance, IT & Marketing Strategic Growth & Development Collaborative Physician Network Nationally Recognized Partner Practices include Andrews Sports Medicine, Mississippi Sports Medicine, and many more across the Southeastern U.S.! Job Description
Southern Orthopaedic Surgeons (SOS) in Montgomery, Alabama is actively seeking a Fellowship-Trained Orthopaedic Adult Reconstruction Surgeon to join our well-established and respected practice in Montgomery, Alabama. This high-demand position offers immediate surgical volume, access to modern facilities, strong referral networks, and a clear path to partnership. Join a respected group serving the region for over 40 years.

Position Highlights
- Mix of clinic and OR :
- 5–3 days in clinic
- 2 days in OR (cases typically 6 : 45 AM – 3 : 30 PM)
- Monday–Friday schedule; no weekend clinic
- ModMed EMR
- Call shared equally among partners
- Onsite and nearby ancillary support : imaging, physical therapy, orthopaedic urgent care
- Practice support from 8 APPs and 6 therapists
- Modest general ortho responsibilities as you build your practice
