Key Responsibilities of the Interventional Radiology Technologist :

Assist physicians during image-guided interventional procedures

Operate and maintain fluoroscopy, angiography, and specialized IR equipment

Prepare patients, ensure safety standards, and maintain sterile technique

Perform accurate imaging using radiation safety best practices

Document procedures, patient information, and imaging data precisely

Support patient care before, during, and after procedures

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care

Requirements :

Minimum 2 years of IR experience

ARRT (R) required; ARRT (VI) or (CV) preferred

Active Texas state license (or ability to obtain)

BLS required; ACLS preferred

Strong understanding of IR procedures and sterile practices

Excellent technical, communication, and patient-care skills
