Job Title : North Dakota Licensed Electrician (Journeyman)
Location : Bismarck, ND
Pay Rate : $50 per hour
Per Diem : $150 per day worked (must meet qualification requirements)
Schedule : Six 10-hour days per week | 4-month project
Job Type : Full-time | In-person
Job Summary :
We are seeking a licensed North Dakota Journeyman Electrician (NDSEB) to perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including pump station hookups.
This is a 4-month project requiring a consistent schedule, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to meet per diem qualifications.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare sketches showing location of wiring and equipment or follow diagrams / blueprints to ensure proper installation.
- Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit using hand and power tools.
- Pull wiring through conduit, assisted by helper.
- Splice wires and connect wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment.
- Install control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, and circuit breaker panels.
- Connect power cables to equipment and install grounding leads.
- Test continuity of circuits using instruments such as ohmmeter, oscilloscope, or battery / buzzer.
- Observe installed equipment for hazards or the need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement.
- Disassemble and repair defective electrical equipment or systems as needed.
- Load, transport, and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.
- Comply with all safety procedures and project rules, including LOTO and other protocols.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Must hold a valid North Dakota Electrical License (NDSEB) .Must have an OSHA 10 or higher certificateMust meet per diem qualification requirements .High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Previous experience as a journeyman electrician in commercial or industrial settings.Knowledge of electrical concepts, practices, and procedures.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.Strong attention to detail, safety-conscious, and reliable.Ability to distinguish colors for wiring and electrical work.Compensation & Benefits
