What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Support public relations campaigns for Pratt & Whitney's commercial portfolio, including engines and next-gen technologies
Manage local media inquiries and interviews in the Hartford, CT area
Develop and maintain relationships with local and aviation trade media
Draft press releases, briefing documents, and media coverage reports
Collaborate with analytics teams to assess the effectiveness of PR strategies
What is Required (Qualifications)
Typically requires a University Degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience, or 12 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future
Extensive experience in commercial aviation and communications, with strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities under tight deadlines
Strong executive presence and demonstrated success in cross-functional team environments
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in Communications or Public Relations
Experience in a deadline-driven environment
Self-starter with a curiosity to investigate details and drive projects to completion
Ability to build relationships in a remote work setting
Proficiency in the French language is a plus
