Job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The BCBA will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized behavior intervention plans for clients with behavioral challenges. This role requires a strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles, as well as the ability to collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to promote positive behavioral changes.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' behavioral needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions based on applied behavior analysis techniques.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators and healthcare professionals, to support clients' overall development.
  • Provide training and support to caregivers and staff on behavior management strategies.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collect and analyze research data to inform treatment decisions and improve service delivery.
  • Stay current with developments in the field of behavior analysis and special education.

Skills

  • Proficient in patient care practices, ensuring the well-being of clients at all times.
  • Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and medical records management.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to behavioral health settings.
  • Experience in medical documentation practices that meet regulatory standards.
  • Expertise in applied behavior analysis techniques for effective intervention planning.
  • Understanding of special education principles to support clients with diverse needs.
  • Ability to conduct thorough patient assessments to inform treatment strategies.
  • Competence in research data collection methods for evaluating program effectiveness.
  • Requirements

  • Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) license
  • Active Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) certification in Washington State

    Job Type : Full-time

    Pay : $40.00 - $50.00 per hour

    Expected hours : 32 – 38 per week
