Description :

This contract position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery.

The role requires working night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM.

No on-call requirements are needed for this position.

This unit is a Level 4 designated maternal center, caring for complex patients at any gestation.

There are 22 beds, including 16 labor beds.

The nursing staff consists of approximately 100 individuals, including RNs and support staff.

During the day shift, the unit typically has 10 staff members.

Night shift staffing typically includes 9 staff members.

Patient ratios are 1 : 2 or 1 : 1, depending on the situation.

The role involves performing various deliveries, including vaginal and Cesarean sections, tubal ligations, and cerclage placements.

Candidates should be multi-taskers who can work at a fast pace and adapt quickly.

Team orientation and collaboration are essential for success in this unit.

The unit is known for its supportive leadership and is currently undergoing renovations to update the facility.
