Solo Miles Pay : $0.58 per mile with 1300 miles per week. Solo Stops Pay : $20.60 per stop with 25 stops per week. Per Diem Pay : $40.00 per night with 2 nights per week. Deliver SOLO To : 300 Mile Radius. Route : Regional. Tractor Type : Straight Truck. Trailer Type : 26ft Straight Truck. Equipment : Forklift. Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24 / 7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide. Requirements

Minimum 21 years of age. Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience. Pass a Ryder Drug Test. Must have verifiable driving experience (must be in like equipment if position being applied for is operating a straight truck or box truck). 6 Months experience in the past 3 years, OR 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR 5 years' experience within the last 10 years. Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years. Pass a DOT physical. Pass a Ryder road test. Must have a valid driver's license. Ability to follow written and / or oral instructions. Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and / or procedures. Important Note : Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and / or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.

Responsibilities

This position is primarily responsible for safely driving a vehicle within and requires compliance with safety regulations, continuous training and customer service. Additional Responsibilities include but are not limited to : Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and / or state laws, regulations, and / or agency rules, standards and guidelines. Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards. Maintaining accurate records Loading / Unloading freight or assisting in the loading / unloading of freight if required by customer.
