• Shift : 12-hour nights (6 : 45 PM – 7 : 15 AM)\n
• Hours per Week : 36\n
• Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary : $1630 - $1750\n
• Floating : May float to MICU, NSICU, CICU, CVICU, K7 PCU, G7 PCU, 4H CVPC\n
• Dress Code : Navy blue top and bottom or navy bottom with white top\nICU Registered Nurse Qualifications\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or compact state\n
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience (trauma ICU or surgical ICU background required)\n
• Experience with critical care equipment : Camino ICP, CRRT, EVD, wound vacs, arterial / CVC lines\n
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR preferred\n
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) or ATCN (Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses) certification preferred\n
• Strong teamwork and communication skills\nICU RN Responsibilities\n
• Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU\n
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status and progress using Cerner EMR\n
• Perform and assist with procedures such as central line, chest tube, arterial line insertions, and percutaneous tracheostomies\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans\n
• Respond promptly to emergencies and rapidly changing patient conditions\n
• Float to other critical care units (MICU, NSICU, CICU, CVICU, PCU) as needed\n
