Job Title : Audit Senior

Job Location : Hybrid

Job Salary : $190k - $110k (DOE)

Requirements : 5+ Years of Public Accounting External Audit Experience

Position Overview

The Audit Senior will play a key role in managing and executing audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients, with a focus on non-profit organizations and employee benefit plans (EBP). This position requires strong technical skills in auditing and assurance, as well as the ability to lead teams and communicate effectively with clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead audit engagements from planning to completion, overseeing the work of junior staff.
  • Review and analyze financial statements and internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and support.
  • Prepare and review audit reports, ensuring accuracy and clarity in findings and recommendations.
  • Mentor and train junior staff members, fostering their professional development and growth within the firm.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • CPA certification is required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of audit experience, preferably within a public accounting firm.
  • Knowledge of audit and assurance standards, particularly in the non-profit and EBP sectors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
