What You'll Do

Provide customer service to clients, residents, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations within the shelter environment in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or potential issues.

Observe and report any irregularities, including property damage, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.

Communicate and collaborate with shelter staff and Allied Universal management as needed regarding security-related matters.

Maintain detailed records of activities, incidents, and / or observations as required by site protocols.

Assist with access control, helping to monitor and manage the movement of individuals within the shelter location.

Minimum Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Primarily driving post is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
