Child and Family Guidance Center is recruiting for a providesYes Waiver Community Living Support Specialist- Qualified Mental Health Professional.The CLS provides curriculum-based skills training and evidence-based practices to participants working on a wide array of needs including but not limited to independent living skills, anger management, socialization, relationship-building skills, coping skills, family / parent skills and positive communication skills. A CLS may reinforce skills or lessons taught in school, therapy, or other approved settings. All services are provided in a trauma informed / person-driven format. The position requires use of initiative and independent judgment in order to provide interventions in the community, home, and school to YES Waiver participants. They are responsible for attending child and family team meetings monthly along with weekly services and must be effective at troubleshooting and organizing support, interventions, and services to achieve outcomes. The CLS must have the ability to work independently and collaboratively as needed and have effective communication with supervisory staff when necessary.
