For more information about the Department of Civil Engineering & Construction Management see : Department of Civil Engineering and Construction Management at California State University Northridge (CSUN) is seeking a tenure-track faculty member in Construction Management at the rank of Assistant Professor.

The successful candidate will teach Construction Management courses both at the undergraduate and graduate levels and have research interests in Construction Management and / or Construction Engineering or a related field. The successful candidate will be required to provide advisement to undergraduates and supervision of graduate students. Active and effective participation in curriculum development assessment and accreditation and other departmental activities are required. Participation in professional student organizations may be required.

In addition to teaching the position requires weekly office hours attending faculty meetings participation in assessment of student learning and service to the department college and university. The successful candidate may be required to teach on weekdays evenings weekends and / or online and will be held to the standards and requirements of the college and department in which he / she / they is / are housed for recommending tenure and promotion. Required Qualifications :

• Ph.D. and B.S. in Construction Management Construction Engineering Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution. ABD (All But Dissertation) candidates will be considered but must complete the doctoral degree before August 19 2026.
• Teaching experience or strong potential to teach in Construction Management or Civil Engineering related courses at the College / University level in-person and / or online
• Published at least two papers in peer-reviewed conferences or journals within the last 5 years.
