The TPM Leader will drive the successful deployment and maintenance of the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) strategy in the Waxahachie Insulation Plant. This role is a member of the Plant's Natural Leadership Team (NLT) and is accountable for deploying appropriate TPM methodology and developing improvement programs in the facility, while monitoring and reporting progress. The TPM Leader will work closely with plant and functional leaders to drive loss elimination across the TPM pillars.
Reports to : This position reports directly to the Plant Leader with dotted-line functional reporting relationship to the Division TPM Leader Network and Global Director of TPM for the Insulation Business.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead for Health & Safety Excellence
Maintain focus on safety in all TPM initiativesUse TPM methodologies to continue the journey to zero incidentsAdhere to and continuously improve all safety policies, procedures and standardsSupport and participate in wellness and community initiativesContinue to Drive Deployment of the TPM Strategy
Facilitate major plant Initiatives and drive a Zero Injury, Zero Defect, Zero Loss CultureProactively share information that advances organizational goalsSupport and drive root cause analysis, and measure the effectiveness of corrective action(s)Lead the rapid improvements in Safety, Quality and Performance by using relevant tools and techniquesInspires and Enables the Plant Team to Utilize TPM Methodologies to Drive to Misson of Zero.
Demonstrate strategic leadership by working with the Plant NLT to develop a TPM masterplan for the site that is linked to overall plant objectives of loss elimination.Engage and inspire teams at all levels and across functions to achieve results through TPM Pillars.Build support and shared accountability for successful deployment of TPMPartner with internal and external consultants to effectively support and implement TPMMember of the Plant NLT and TPM coach / mentor to the Plant Manager and Operations ManagerServe as mentor / coach to develop excellence in the use of TPM methodologiesBuild TPM capability in the Site through the Learn Do Teach modelDevelop and deliver training as needed to build TPM knowledge, awareness, and capability across the plantAnticipate and eliminate barriers to successIdentify, track, and communicate the metrics that measure TPM progressProvide recognition for successes around sustained TPM systems and TPM capabilities builtLeads the weekly TPM drumbeat in the Plant, Coaches the daily TPM drumbeat in the plantDrive Manufacturing Productivity
Develop strategies and tactics to improve business results through development and execution of TPM efforts across the Insulation Operations networkMonitor, audit and assess progress against the Insulation Operations strategyDevelop and communicate clear and measurable performance expectations; participate in performance reviewsJOB REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering or related fieldExperience in TPM (JIPM) deployment and leadershipOR :
Associate's degree and 4+years of TPM / Lean experiencePrior experience with TPM deployment and leadership of AM, PM, FI and T&D Pillars internal or external to Owens CorningDemonstrated ability to improve business results by working through othersDemonstrated ability to lead change to deliver resultsPREFERRED EXPERIENCE :
3+ years progressive technical experience in a manufacturing environment,Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt and / or Lean Manufacturing experienceFunctional leadership across a multi-site networkTPM (JIPM) certificationProven track record of successful TPM implementation in a plant environmentFunctional leadership in a complex environmentMajor programs deployment :Pillar Leader experience in AM, PM, FILed an AM Team through AM Step 3Led a Daily Management HuddleProject Leader, Project ManagerKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES :
